But, unfortunately, that perfect pair can often come with a hefty price tag.

A (relatively) new brand, Nortiv 8 was founded in 2019, committed to providing high quality gear for a fraction of the price. My wife and I own three different pairs of their footwear, including the AllSwifit, the FlyLife, and the Armadillos. After collectively walking thousands of miles across all those shoes, I can say with confidence that Nortiv 8 has accomplished their mission – and now they’re one of the only footwear brands that I’ll buy.
Where They Shine
When it comes to apparel, I often feel like shoes are the hardest to get right. If the sizing is off, the footbox is too wide or narrow, the heel rubs painfully… Well, you’re going to be miserable. As the great Muhammad Ali said, “It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.”
Our feet are sensitive, and it’s important to treat them right, especially if you’re prone to spending a lot of time walking around. The Nortiv 8 AllSwifit sneakers have plenty of things working in their favor, from how easy they are to use to their budget-friendly price point, making them a worthy addition to your shoe rack. Here are a few extra reasons why you should consider giving them a chance:
Ease of Use
I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of tying my shoes every time I want to go somewhere. The tedium starts to get old when you have to do it once or twice (or more) times a day, so I opt for slip-ons whenever I get the chance.
That convenience is one of the biggest reasons why I like the AllSwifit sneakers. With no laces in sight, it’s so easy to slide these shoes on and off that it almost feels criminal. The top of the heel even flares back so that you don’t accidently scrunch it down into the shoe when you’re slipping it on.
I should mention that, even though you can get in and out of them quite easily, they won’t fly off your feet while you’re walking around normally. I certainly wouldn’t refer to them as a “running shoe,” but you can do some serious power walking without being afraid of your feet coming free.
Comfort
I’ve yet to put on a pair of Nortiv 8 footwear that didn’t make me feel like I was walking on a cloud. Right out of the box, no break in time, they’ve always been consistently comfortable, and the AllSwifit are no exception.
At the time I’m writing this, I’ve probably walked about 150 miles in these shoes, and the soles are just as comfortable as they were on that first mile. I should also note that I have very wide feet, so finding comfortable shoes that fit me… Well, it’s always been a struggle. These sneakers fit me like a charm, so I’d probably recommend them to people with average or wide feet.
Traction
Any good shoe needs to provide a certain amount of traction. After all, you don’t want to be slipping around when you’re walking on anything other than a flat, dry sidewalk.
The tread on the bottom of these shoes, along with the rubber material, is definitely sticky. Not as good as a hiking boot (obviously), but certainly enough to keep you from sliding when you walk on grass, dirt, rock, and most other terrains.
Close to where I live, there’s a sidewalk that always has water covering a certain segment of it. I think some nearby pop-up sprinklers are constantly filling this depression in the concrete with water, which has allowed some slippery algae to form. Every time I walk over it, I feel like I’m skating on ice.
The AllSwifits didn’t remove that slick sensation completely, but I can actually go over the stretch of sidewalk without throwing my hands out to the side. Definitely a cut above other sneakers that I’ve owned, when it comes to traction.
Durability
I used to need a new pair of sneakers once every 6-8 months. Around that point in time, I’d notice the tread wearing through pretty noticeably, and the sole and heel would be showing signs of holes forming.
At the time that I’m writing this, I’ve had the AllSwifits for roughly 2 months – not enough time for me to really speak to their durability, but enough where I can get an idea of where things are going. And let me just say, they look and feel the same as they did when I first took them out of the box. I’m sure I’ll be able to hit that 6-8 month mark (at minimum) before starting to think about any replacements.
Price
On top of all the things I’ve already mentioned, the reason I like Nortiv 8 footwear the most is because of how affordable it is. I don’t even know how the company manages to sell their products for such a low price, especially when you consider the quality of the gear.
At the time that I’m writing this, both the men’s and women’s AllSwifit sneakers are selling for $56.99 at regular price. On sale, they would be even more affordable. I’m not sure what experiences you’ve had with buying footwear in the past, but I’ve always had to spend at least $80 to get a decent pair of shoes, so to see something this inexpensive… Well, let’s just say that they’re definitely worth the price!
Potential Pain Points
As always, there’s no such thing as a perfect product. Despite all of the things that I love about the AllSwifits, there is one thing that has caused me a fair amount of grief.
Heel Rubbing
I’ve gotten blisters. There’s really no other way to say it – if I walk semi-aggressively for more than 10 minutes, I can feel something hard digging into my Achilles. The first week of wearing the shoes, I didn’t feel anything uncomfortable, but as time went on, it became more and more unbearable.
Walking slowly (around 1-2mph) is generally fine, especially if I’m walking in intervals. But I’m someone who likes to walk a brisk 3-4 miles in one sitting to burn off some stress, and that’s not something I can do in these shoes without shredding my heels.
Final Verdict
On the whole, I love the Nortiv 8 AllSwifit sneakers. You really can’t beat the price point, the comfort factor is definitely there, and they hold up remarkably well in the long run. The heel rubbing is a bit of a bummer, but again, I really only feel that when I walk briskly for more than a mile or so. If you plan to use these sneakers for more casual use, I doubt you’ll even notice the heel.
